This is a handwritten leather bound album, which has mostly handwritten entries, and there are over 130 pages with handwritten entries. There are also several newspaper cuttings throughout, and a bookplate like piece of card with two cats drawn on it to the inner front board (see pictures). Most of the cuttings are attached to pages, but there are a few loose ones and letters also. It is difficult to date it exactly, but there is the date of 1878 to the bottom of one of the handwritten pages, and there is a cut-out from a Bunyan Meeting which is dated 1906.
The leather album has gilt border line decoration to edges of boards and spine panels/compartments, and it has dimensions of 7.5\" x 5\" x 0.8\" thick.
