The food dome is marked 14 inches and measures 6.20inches high and 12.75 inches long x 8.50 inches wide, the dimensions that willfit a 16 inch platter. The bottom rim is decorated with a striking rope design andthere is an open work handle to provide for ease in lifting. The piece has a silverplated interior that is clean and shiny. This exceptional antique is in EXCELLENT ESTATECONDITION with no flaking, repairs orsilver wear to note. Any dark spots or discolorations in the pictures are dueto background glare as the food dome is a bright and shiny silver.
