CONDITION: Good condition. Hardcover 1880 - scarlet cover, binding is solid normal wear, some mild water water stain on back cover and top of spine. Endpapers are signed by someone. Some foxing but pictures throughout book are in good condition. Superb color plates with tissue guards.While many believe the origin dates to the Crusades and the Knight\'s Templar the Masonic practice and structure emerged some three hundred years ago when lodges of masons began to accept men of prominence and learning who were not stone masons.
