You are offerding on an antique 1880\'s Aesthetic Sterling silver parcel gilt presentation mug. This wonderful Whiting & co. piece measures approximately 3.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide including the handle. Total weight is 195 grams. Exquisite detail with very fine parcel gilt foliage on one side and a swallow on the other in the Japanese pattern which was introduced by Whiting in 1874. A few age imperfections but overall excellent condition with no relevant damage. The inscription on the front associates the piece to Amherst college in Massachusetts. Fully hallmarked on the underside with the whiting mark and some dedications over the years. Wonderful collectors piece. I ship worldwide. Email me with questions and for international shipping fees.
