Two volumes bound in one.

Bound by Bolton of Knightsbridge.

Justin McCarthy an Irish Nationalist and Liberal Historian, novelist and politician. His novels attained considerable popularity.

CONDITION

In aredhalf-calf binding. Externally sound with slight rubbing and some wear to extremities. Private bookplate to front-pastedown and a binder\'s label to rear pastedown.Internally firmlybound. Pages bright and generally cleanalthough foxed to first and last. Ink inscription tohalf titledated 1881 and an ink signature to first blank. Overall: VERYGOOD.
