DESCRIPTION:

English Oak Stationary Box,

with Silver Plate accents.

Made from Quarter Sawn Oak,

sometimes called Tigers Eye.

Silver Plated Handles on either side.

The cabinet contains two doors which

opens to reveal a fitted interior, containing

9compartments for stationary, cards,

and invitations, plus 2 drawers with silver

plated knobs. Beneath the cabinetis a drawer

with a space for pens,and a space on either

side for an inkwell. (inkwells not included)

Behind this area is a spacefor supplies.

The rim of the drawer contains a working

lock, and a Registration Mark: 16166

(see picture #8)

On the front of the drawer is

a silver plate keyhole escutcheon,

with the original key!
