This sale is for a rare old book, Museum of Antiquity, A Description of Ancient Life: the employments, amusements, customs and habits, the Cities, Palaces, an Tombs, the Literature and Fine Arts of 3,000 years ago. Published in 1884, in Madison, Wisconsin. There is a tear running up about half way on the front hinge, and all the pages before the Title Page are torn or otherwise damaged. Everything beyond that point though, is in remarkably good condition, with all 944 pages and all the steel engravings, etc. intact. We will be adding more photos... please be patient. This is a good rare book, but with some very obvious damage. Still a pleasure to have in your bookcase, or to thumb through on a lonely night in front of the fireplace. There some reflected light and shadows in the photos. Please look at photos and ask questions, as all sale sales are final. Payment is due within 7 days of sale close. I usually leave response after it is left for me. I will combine items to save on shipping, when items can be safely packed together. Most of the time items are sent priority mail with delivery confirmation.
