A cabinet card photo of a child with dress wearing a political campaign cap with the names Harrison and Morton in large letters on the front. Harrison and Morton referred to Benjamin Harrison and Levi Parsons Morton, the Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of the Presidential Election of 1888. They ran against the Democratic party\'s nominees, incumbent President Grover Cleveland and Allen Granberry Thurman. The child is holding a toy saw & a ruler.

The card\'s back has no printing. There is an ink inscription on the back that reads, \"Aug. 29th, 1889, Aged 3 yrs When taken\". The card measures 4 1/4 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall. Printed on the front is the name of the photographer, \"French\", and his business address, \"133 Genessee Street, Albany, NY.\" A fun challenge would be to find the hat that is shown in the photo to put with this photo in a collection of Presidential campaign items.
