Up for sale is a nice antique book titled OUIDA ILLUSTRATED Volume Eight by “OUIDA” (Maria Louise Ramé)! OUIDA ILLUSTRATED is a set of books made up of Ten Volumes. The publication date 1889 is found on the title page.

About the author: Ouida (1 January 1839 - 25 January 1908) was the pseudonym of the English novelist Maria Louise Ramé (although she preferred to be known as Marie Louise de la Ramée). During her career, Ouida wrote more than 40 novels, children\'s books and collections of short stories and essays. She was an animal lover and rescuer, and at times owned as many as thirty dogs. Ouida\'s work had several phases.

This old hardback book is complete and intact, in good condition for its age as evidenced by the photos. The front cover has gilt lettering. The covers are in good condition with some edge and corner wear. The inside covers are in good condition; there is no cracking or separation present; the boards are firmly attached to the binding. There are no markings or stickers present. The pages are in good to very good condition, crisp, all pages are tight to the binding. I did not see any foxing on the pages. The spine is in good condition with some edge and corner wear.

This is a nice, clean set of vintage books.
