Original antique photographic paperweight of the Garfield Memorial at Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio, 1890s, approx. 4” x 2-1/2” x 1”. Some faint staining at extreme edges of image, otherwise fine, attractive condition.

The underside retains the original printed descriptive label featuring various statistics on the monument. In part: “Built by Popular Subscription. Height of Memorial, 180 ft.; Diameter of Tower, 50 ft.; Cost of Memorial, $225,000; No. of Steps in Memorial, 154; Building was finished and dedicated May 30, 1890. Architect George Keller, Hartford, Conn.”
