Up for offer is a lot of four authentic Native American Ponca Chief photos and or cards. Included in this lot is all photos pictured above which includes: (starting left to right)A photo of Chief Yellow Horse measuring approx 6\"X4\" on semi heavy stock almost postcard thickness but not quite as thick as a postcard a couple corners are clipped, and there is a small tear on bottom about half an inch left of center still a great photo (same size as most cabinet cards)Another of Chief Yellow Horse later in life standing next to a tee-pee wrapped in blanket there is a little damage to this photo as well (see pics) measures approx 5\" X 3 1/2\" and is on very thin stock The third photo, has got me baffled as I thought at first it too was Chief Yellow Horse, but I am having second thoughts and almost believe it to be another Ponca Chief (you be the judge) I can tell you that Ponca Chief Walks With Effort II does don this same medallion as in this photo. None the less, im almost afraid to sale it as it could be a true gem measures approx. 4 3/4\" X 3 3/8\" (pic) black paper backing measures approx. 6 3/4\" X 5 1/2\".Lastly is a photo of Horse Chief Eagle. This is a rare one to find a photo of. (Especially at such a young age) approx 3 7/8\" X 2 1/2\". 0n very heave stock. See the photo to notice pencil inscription on back of this one. Just above where the granddaughter I.d\'d him in pen when doing genealogy.I do know just a little about each of these two chiefs and was going to link the ameritribe page directly related to both but no longer allws that. So i will just mention a little about each of theabove chiefs snd their lineage. Such as Yellow Horse being the brother of Standing Bear and Horse Chief the son of White Eagle. FYI Horse Chief eagle was the last of the Ponca to claim chief by way of bloodline. (Read that somewhere else couple days ago)
