The article gives some early specific facts with accurate dates, and details. The relationship that the emperor had with the constitutional government is described in some detail. His emphasis on a strong military, including a buildup of the Navy is recorded. Extensive war games were initiated by him right after he ascended to power ,making France very nervous. His handling of labor issues is described quite extensively. Wilhelm II was the last of the German emperors. He was a significant factor in German participation in World War I. In 1918 he was forced to abdicate the throne and go into exile in the Netherlands. He lived to see the Nazis ascend to power in Germany and he finally died in 1941. He is buried in the Netherlands.
