A scarce collection of works by Charles Reade, inattractive morocco binding.

Featuring excerpts from novels such as The Cloister and The Hearth and Peg Woffington, the volume is introduced by Mrs. Alexander Ireland.

CONDITION

In morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally smart, there is some wear to the extremities, joints and backstrip, with some markings to boards. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are largely bright and clean throughout, aside from the odd spot and handling mark, particularly to endpages. Overall: VERY GOOD INDEED.
