This beautiful vintage, rarestyle (one of the nicest of several)Sterling Silver souvenir spoon measures 4.25 inches in length.The bowl of the spoon is embossed with \"New York\", a windmill, two beavers and two barrels.The handle is the Statue of Liberty with the seal of New York at her feet held by a winged eagle in flight.The lady Liberty Figure holds a book in her left arm with the date: \"July 4, 1776\" on the front...She was a gift to the United States from the government of France...The back of Liberty is engraved with \"Geo W. Welsh\'s Son\" and the back of the book with the patient date of July 7,\'91 (1891)for the spoon.The base of the bowl is marked with an S with wings for Shiebler and Sterling.The total weight is 16.8grams.In great estate condition!
