Up for sale is my 1892 Singer Treadle sewing machine. If you saw the before picture in the gallery you can imagine how much love I put into this machine from the state I found it in. The entire machine has been gone through top to bottom and it sews just as good as the day it was made. I custom fabricated the metal top for it as a replacement for the cumbersome wood one that came with these machines originally. The effect is that much more of the mechanicalapparatusis nowvisible. I completely repainted the entire machine and custom fabricated top. There NO DECALS on the machine that is all paint. I used top quality automotive paint from the Dupont Chromasystems line. The red is a modified recipe from dupont code 571724 which I added brass and aluminum flakes so that it shimmers and catches the light more.
