Price reduced to sell this inventory! Original plate impressed etching from the 1893 Chicago World\'s Fair Columbian Exposition. This plate is LE BUTIN (THE BOOTY) originally painted by Georges Rochegrosse (France, 1859 – 1938), etched by Eugene-Andre Champollion (France, 1848 - 1901). Original piece from the art exhibited at the World\'s Columbian Exposition and published by George Barrie, dated 1893 top center above the etching, and bearing the official embossed blindstamp of the World\'s Columbian Exposition to the lower left. See photos (blindstamp photo was edited to increase the visibility of the stamp). This is not the usual torn from a book small photoengravueres, this is one of the large loose impressions created for the event. Etching is 9\" x 11 1/4\", overall paper is 19\" x 14\". Some soiling as seen in the photos, a matted framing would cover most of this. Shipping cost includes delivery confirmation for your protection and mine.
