This lovely antique comes from Pre Revolution Russia and is marked with hallmarks for Ivan Ekimovich Morozov . I.E. Morozov was the chief rival to Carl Faberge\' - producing items for the Imperial Court. The marks indicate that this piece was made between 1896-1908. Stamped with the double eagle Imperial Warrant. The makers mark BK is unidentified. This scuttle was manufactured of 875/1000 silver in Saint Petersburg. Beautiful condition with very little wear. Some light scratches and one rice grain size ding on the back of the scuttle but otherwise very good condition. Weighs 12.93 Troy Oz (14.19 OZ). 6-1/2 inches high.
