Here is an 1898Waterman #12 red mottled hard rubber eye-dropper fountain pen, it isan early model made before the company marked their pens with the globe logo, the barrel. imprint is worn but it reads Waterman Ideal Fountain Pen N.Y. Pat\'dFed 12 & Nov 4 1884, the cap imprint is crisp and it reads Par\'d May 24 1898, barrel end has 12 on it, the pen is fitted with an early spoon feed and a later model Waterman Ideal 2 flex nib, no cracks or repairs, cosmetically the pen is in excellent conditionManufacturer - Waterman
