From a photo collection following the 1st Rhode Island Volunteers Infantry during The Spanish American War and the aftermath, 1898-1899. Photos were likely taken by the wife of Major Herbert Bliss who traveled around with him with their daughter Hope Bliss.. Identification of the photo is taken from notations on the back, captions in a photo album, or from similar images in the same collection.

SIZE: Approximately 3 3/8\" x 2 1/4\".

CONDITION: VERY GOOD, slight indentations in the corners from album mounting tabs. Take note that condition refers to the paper, see thescans provided to judge the quality of the image itself.
