10&1/2\" x 8&3/8\" hardcover with gilted, slightly embossed design on front, 690 (linen-styled /deliberately roughened edged)pages, many illustrations(portraits, facsimiles, places), each accompanied by vellum cover page, 1899 copyright, sections include \"Death of Washington\", the \"Roll of Members\" section lasts from pages 49-245, and lists countless amount of descendant members and their relationship to ancestors whom served(see pic)in the Revolutionary War. This is followed by an even more fascinating section (pages 255-638), entitled \"Ancestors and Descendants\", which list the ancestor whom served, and includes his personal military record(see pics), some make for a fascinating read, one whom escaped from a prison ship(see pics), and I only looked at a very tiny sampling of what I would estimate to be well over 2,000 individual records! Please study pics for condition, along spine top is a rip, grey blemishing shows in the tan sections, some light scuffs/wrinkles in cloth on spine, but interior is very good for book of this size/age: endpapers with no splitting, binding ex, early first few pages with tan specking but after title page just mild, page 687 and page following have rip along top edge in center, no loose pages, no writing or odors.
