This is a replica of a Chinese Coin sometimes called an I Ching coin by Westerners. It is 18 K solid gold and marked “TC 18”. and it tests 18k. I am relatively certain that the mark is that of TUCK CHANG, who worked in SHANGHAI from c.1880-Japanese invasion, at 1285 Broadway, Hongkew, Shanghai. Chinese export silver is much sought after, but I know of no Chinese export gold on the market, at least nothing I can find with a Google search. Tuck Chang used the coin motif in some of his silver.

It is 0.06 troy ounces or 1.9 grams. The coin is 1.35 cm in diameter, 1.6 cm top ring to bottom (not including the jump ring, which also tests to be 18k!), and 1mm thick. We sold this medal once before, and the purchaser lied about it, to make a return. He said the little loose ring was not 18k gold but 14k gold. We test our items with acid and needles and it tested 18k. If you don\'t know what this is, or can’t read English please do not buy it.
