We offer an original and complete Act and Law from 1789 Massachusetts., published just as the new Constitution was being ratified by the 14 states. Taken from a series of Acts and Laws., this is complete and has a portion of another Act with it. 7 x 11\".

Acomplete Act and Law concerning the \".....Effectual suppression of tumults and insurrections in the Commonwealth....\" and, \"....Act directing and regulating the process of Outlawry...\" with a total of 8 pages. No odors, a few miner tear repairs in the blank area of a few pages. There is on other complete Act and Law., concerning the Suppression of Lotteries. [ However, that did not stand very long ].

We have preserved it in a presentation folder with copies of the history of printing and punishments of 18th Century Massachusetts.

This was hand printed on a standing press, on hand made laid paper. No odors, no defects. Quite handsome. Complete with copy of the title page showing this was published in the year 1789 at Boston by Adams and Nourse, the printers of the \"Honorable General Court\" [ just another name for the Legislature ].
