EXPORT are being offered a Very High Quality 18th Century Chinese Blue and White Export Porcelain Octagonal or Eight-Sided Plate decorated with Hand Painted Houses, Trees and Boats in a River Landscape executed in Underglaze Cobalt Oxide Pigment on White and Thin Porcelain. Being Export Porcelain, the Plate is not signed and it doesn’t have any identifying marks, but we are quite certain it was made during the Qianlong Period, circa 1760. The Plate measures 9 inches across at its widest point and its Rim is 1½ inches high when it is sitting on a flat, level surface. Except for nine or ten rim frits, this Plate is in Very Good Condition, without any chips, cracks, scratches or repairs and its Glaze still retains its High Gloss.
