18th Century Tea Caddy-hexagonal shape and wonderful tea house painting:
$250.00

This piece is spectacular. But I bought a caddy that better matches my collection of Chinese tea house pieces, so this one has to go. There is no lid, but this is still an wonderful and amazing piece. it has sixsides, each painted with a chinoserie scene, and the molded reed frame. Foliate or leaf design rimming the top shoulder of the piece and lovely little cabinet like feet on the base. This predates pearlware and the glaze is very undulate and glossy, so do not think that it is worn or spotty-that is just the sun\'s reflection. It is 4.5 inches tall, 4.15 inches long, and 3.4 inches deep. There is an age crack on the base and the feet are not all perfect-look at the photosplease. ASK QUESTIONS. PLEASE EXAMINE THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY-There is a lot of data in there.
LOOK AT THE PHOTOScarefully.. also-, returns only if reasonable. if the piece is lost and you did not ask for insurance, it is at your risk. Shipping to the UKwould be approximately 13£without insurance - ignore the shipping rates-they are not correct. and shipping to China must be tracked deliver and will vary by province. If you buy it without asking for shipping and refuse to pay, you cannot say you have not been warned.
