18th c. American Wrought Iron RARE 3 Pronged Standing Toasting Fork:

This toasting fork is of a rare form. There are three prongs rather than the usual two. The patina is a wonderful dark color - just what you want to find on a genuine piece of this age. It measures 11 1/4\" long. The tongs show minimal wear. Interestingly, the shaft is pinched, then widened at the end - probably to assist gripping. I couldn\'t find a maker\'s mark. There are two decorative circular indentations on the shaft. This rare fork belonged to a dealer legendary in the Rochester area, whose name I will disclose to the buyer. This fork is the real deal and quite wonderful.
