……The 18th century Religious Icon Painting in this sale is authentic. Measuring 12 1/8“ by 10 1/2“ this Tin Icon is applied over a 1“ thick wood panel, which is coveredon the back with a early cloth. The 9 1/4“ by 7 1/2“ Icon Painting in the center depicts St. Michael spearing the Dragon. You can see in my photographs that there is wear to the painting, especially on the body of St. Michael. It loks like he was touched over and over again for many years. There are no damages or any repairs to this 18th century Tin & Wood Icon and to make sure some er wins it there is !
