What a beautiful antique bisque doll. She is 19 1/2\" tall.This is a beautiful doll with bright blue sleep eyes with painted lashes. Multi stroke brows, open mouth with upper teeth and great color to her face Her head is excellent with the exception of a small chip in the middle of the back of her head as shown in photos. There is a minor hairline coming from that chip but it\'s all very stable and is under her beautiful sausage curled French wig.
She is on a composition body that is excellent. It has a red mark in the middle of the back which I\'m sure is the early mark used by Cuno & Otto Dressel. See photo. They were in partnership with Armand Marseille for a brief period of time. Some of the shared molds had both manufacturer\'s name & other\'s only one. I am sure the excellent body is original to this doll. .
She is custom dressed in apeach satin and lace dress with multi layers of pleated satin in back topped with a big peach bow. She has intricate handsewn pink floral trim and lace with custom \'buttons\' down the front of the dress. The dress actually opens and closes with hidden snaps. She also has cotton pantaloons with cotton stockings and very softkid leather high button shoes. This outfit alone should sell for $75 or more by itself. The French wig also is valued at $50 or more so this doll, even with the small flaw in the head that doesn\'t show is priced really low! Don\'t pass her up.
