Presented for sale is this nice lot of civil war artifacts, dug near Gettysburg. 19 items in all. Not sure what the crumpled metal piece is, 5 Confederate buttons, 1 button, 3 fire starter bullets, buckle piece (partial), a piece of redware crockery, a bell, a piece of pipe, another metal object, a very heavy piece from cannon ball, and 2 round leather items. Also included is a pocket watch case. Circa 1990, gold filled. My jeweler friend estimated the watch to be from 1890- 1910. Maybe it was lost during a parade or gathering to commemorate the war?
