DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a 19\" tall \"Kamkins\" doll made from 1919 to 1928, Atlantic City, NJ USA. She is ALL-CLOTH by Louise R. Kampes. Pressed and oil painted complexion and features, (wear & scuffs) throughout her \"sweet\" little face with painted blue eyes, brown eyeliner, closed mouth, original blonde mohair wig. I removed her hat and her mohair wig shows normal wear and is lovely. A 1920s doll with original finish; showing some light wear and soil, mending at ankles, see photos. Remains of a little paper on her chest from an old \"paper heart\" that is long gone. She has a muslin body with stitch-jointing, tab style joint at the shoulders,stitch jointed at the hips, has mitten hands with stitching and individual thumbs. A swivel head that turns, there is a non-working crier in the back. Wears vintage pink and white cotton dress, rose straw bonnet. Doll stand is display and not included.
