This listing is for an \"adorable\" old 1920s -1930s composition and cloth mama doll who has been \"re-dressed\". This doll has a \"ink stamp\" on the behind area that reads \"Madame Hendren Doll a number 420, Made in USA\". Reference tells me Averill Mfg /Madame Hendren made dolls in the 1920s to 1930s. From a doll estate I do not know her past history but will describe the best I can. Measures 19\" tall being a composition shoulder head, composition hands with all fingers intact, nail polish on her finger nails,composition legs with cloth mama doll body. There is a non-working crier in the back. Her composition areas including the face show some scuffs, paint loss and line crazing, see photos. Doll wears a dark blonde human hair wig with center part,it is secure on her head and charming, I believe a nice \"replacement\" wig. She has unpainted molded wavy hair under this wig. She has a \"sweet\" little face with open andclose blue tin sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes under the eyes, upper human hair lashes on the eye lids, brush stroked dark blonde eye brows, she hasopen mouth with two upper teeth and molded tongue.Her blue dress is charming with white lace accents, only safety pin closure downthe back. She wears slip with attached panties, stockings and shoes.This is a lovely old baby mama doll for collection or display!I have taken plenty of photos.
