I am listing 8 very rare Royal Doulton Gibson Girl series ware plates.They are 8of twelve portraits printed in sepiaand white fromillustrations by the famous American illustrator Charles Dana Gibson. They are quite rare and I was only able to collect 8 of the 12....Each one bearshis facsimile signature andframed by a border of blue hearts and lovers\' knots.These are superb periodDoulton plates from a very collectibleseries and in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restorations. Some of them do have overall crazing, though nothing to detract and really only noticed on close scrutiny....this will be noted in the individual listingsRoyal Doulton backstamp with Copyright 1899by Life Publishing Co. Diameter 23.5cm (9.25in) is present on each plate, although it has been rather difficult to photograph them.
