These gorgeous Minton\'s, England plates all bear the official makers mark on the underside, dating them back to the very early 1900\'s. The Minton\'s plates were made exclusively for the infamous Wells Burrage Company of Boston; which was located at 314 Boylston Avenue, in Boston Massachusetts. Minton\'s has enjoyed the marvelous reputation of being the finest maker of porcelain in England. Their designs, patterns, and hand painting are all of the highest and finest quality and craftsmanship. These 12 plates are certainly no exception, they are beautifully decorated, hand painted, and crafted to perfection. Each and every plate presents in perfect condition, despite their great age. The colors are all tremendously vibrant featuring a lovely floral design on a bright white background. At the border is green and gold trim with garlands of flowers, pink roses, small blue florets, and gold bows. In between the garlands are small bouquets of pink roses. The center of each plate features 2 pink roses with sprigs of small blue florets. Each of the 6 dinner plates measures 10 in round, and the 6 luncheon/salad plates measure 9 in round. The total weight of all 12 pieces is approximately 16 pounds. These plates are special for many reasons, yet, I feel the need to stress their great beauty and wonderful condition. It is not often you see fine china of this caliber in such pristine condition. They will set an absolutely beautiful table that will honor special guests with their presence. Collectors and enthusiasts of antique Minton\'s china won\'t want to miss out on these true perfect beauties.
