1900 LARGE ENGLISH LILAC ENAMEL STERLING SILVER KNOB:WALKING/HIKING STICK/CANE:

This is a long wooden walking/hiking stick with an English lilac colored enamel/gullioche sterling silver knob/handle dating from early 1900s. The lilac enamel has a repetitive zigzag design with a central sterling \"button\" on top. The knob is slightly less than 1 inch high and 1 1/2 inches at the widest while the maple hardwood shaft which is not original plus knob is 44 inches long, 1 inch in diameter and about 3 1/2 inches in circumference and is capped with a black tip protector. The stick’s color is medium brown and there is a medium gloss finish. The stick is sturdy and could be used by a large/heavy/tall person or in the rugged back-country. The only defect I can see is a small rough area less than 1/3 inch on the lower rim.
