Offered isan unusual19th centurydie-cutVictorian political trade card advertisingCordova Coffee, manufactured by Dannemillers & Co.of Canton, Ohio, circa 1900.

The trade card is a paper doll depicting Presidential candidate William Jennings Bryan in a classic orator\'s pose, above a patrioticeagle motif.

The eagle motif was probably meant tofold forward in order to keep the paper doll upright.

The back of the trade card states:

Use Cordova Coffee and secure the full set of these dolls. (Six in set.)

Take no substitute, insist on having CORDOVA,as it is the best obtainable for the money.

Size ofthis very scarce and unusualpolitical trade card is 4 1/2\" x 2 1/2.\"

Condition is fair, with a heavy horizontal crease line, along with minor creases elsewhere and soiling and age-toning on the back side.
