Up for sale are two Antique (100+ year old) postcards that were printed in Austria. Both postcards have a copyright date of 1905 by Frederick A. Stokes Company. The postcard is from the same series, the back of both postcards are printed “M/ M/ Vienne” “Nr 303”. These postcards were beautiful drawn by an unknown artist.One postcard shows a woman playing a piano while a man leans on the piano and looks attentively at her as she plays. The other postcard shows the woman walking away from the piano. She has her sheet music in her hands. The man is sitting on a chair leaning on his leg with his arm, he now looks unhappy.
CONDITION
The postcards are not used. They have small very small corner bumps. Onehas creases (all in the same corner area of the postcard – the largest crease is approximately 1” long) and the other postcard has no creases. They have lightly browned due to aging.See the pictures in this sale to see the condition of this postcard.
