This is an original Chromolithograph print caricature of President Theodore Roosevelt for Vanity Fair magazine after James Montgomery Flagg (American, 1877-1960). The caricature is No. 847 in the magazine’s “Men of the Day” series and is captioned “U.S.A.” Circa 1902.

This is similar to the \"SPY\" prints that Vanity Fair published. Size is 9.5\" x 15\". Very good condition!

Most popular of its features were the wonderful full page caricatures of famous men and women of the day, prints that remain Vanity Fair\'s great legacy. The two most famous artists who worked for Vanity Fair were \"Ape\" (Carlo Pellegrini) and \"Spy\" (Leslie Ward), but many other artists provided images for this long running series of delightful caricatures.
