1903-1913 MAUSER STERLING SILVER 925-1000 PLATE SET UNICORN MARK ORIGINAL CASE:

Up for sale is a complete set of 6 antique Mauser 6\" dessert/snack plates with the original felt case. From what I have read, these date from betwen 1903 and 1913 when Mauser merged with Gorham Silver Co. They are all marked with Mauser\'s Unicorn maker\'s mark on the back as well as the following\" STERLING- 925-1000 FINE-1099\" The last may be a style or model number. The front of the plates also have the single letter \"M\". Total weight of all 6 plates is about 20 oz. Condition is good; these have not be cleaned in at least 45 years that I know of, there are a fewtiny scratches and some small dents (appear to have been made by closing the snap closure of the felt case (which is difficult to do). Please use the zoom feature to look over that plates in detail.

All-in-all this is anice rare full set of Sterling silver platesthat would be fantastic for use or for display. This is a sale. Insuranceifdesired, is extra.
