Very Rare and wonderful, 1906 Theodore Roosevelt Mechanical / Transformation Presidential Portrait Post Card Fan. This wonderful, multi-element Mechanical Postcard, Easel Back Fan measures approx. 3 5/8\" by 6 1/2\" when fully collapsed and is made of a light weight card stock manufactured in an envelope / postcard form. When fully deployed, the patriotic mechanical Fan measures approx, 11” tall and 10 3/4” across at its widest point. .

This wonderful 1906 Mechanical Presidential Postcard Fan features a portrait of President Theodore Roosevelt at the center of the front side flanked by American Flags and surrounded by portraits of presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson above and martyred Presidents Abraham Lincoln. James A. Garfield and William McKinley below. Text above all of the images reads \"Our Presidents\".

When the tab at the top of the Card is pulled upward a six lobed Fan appears with each lobe featuring 3 portraits of Presidents of the United States surrounded by American Flags and Patriotic Images. The Card is patented and copyright October, 1906.

The Pull Tab forms an easel stand that allows the Fan to stand upright forming a very impressive display. The back side of the card features a printed, Postcard form which would have allowed this wonderful, Patriotic Mechanical Presidential Fan to be sent through the mail as a simple Postal Card.

This fascinating and wonderful, 1906 Theodore Roosevelt Mechanical Presidential Portrait Post Card Fan is in very good condition. There is very light edge wear and some very light soiling to the Postcard back but overall the Transformation / Mechanical Card is very well preserved and displays beautifully.
