Edmond Eugène Alexis Rostand (April 1, 1868–December 2, 1918) was a French poet and dramatist.

Rostand is associated with neo-romanticism, and is best known for his play Cyrano de Bergerac. Rostand\'s romantic plays provided an alternative to the naturalistic theatre popular during the late 19th century.

CONDITION

The binding is tight and firm and both covers are firmly attached. There is some minor wear to the extremities including a black mark to the spine. Internally the book is generally clean part from some mild spotting in one or two places. There are some ink initials to the top of the half title page. There is an Efford Park Library plate to the front pastedown. Overall the book is in very good condition indeed.
