For offer is an original 1900’s Leather United States CoastArtillery Corps (US ARMY) ammunition / bullet pouch issued at the Rock Island,Illinois Arsenal in 1908. This terrificmilitary flip-up ammunition pouch has a cloth section inside with room for 20bullets in individual holders. It’sstamped inside with information including “Coast Artillery No. 49.” Possibly made by T.C.C. (not sure what thisstands for). The pouch was designed tobe worn by the soldier on his belt or on some other strap. It buttons at the top with another leatherflap over a brass button. Seeimages. This is a terrific piece of USmilitary uniform / bullet holder box. Thisis an interesting piece of CAC history.
