Antique1908 Taft and Sherman Aide de Campaign Button with ribbon.This is a very rare piece worn by a high ranking military official such as a general or a high level politician(signified by Aide de Camp).The Aide de Camp badge on the item measures approx. 2.25\" across and has a pinback.The ribbon underneath has two Flags affixed to it.In the center of the ribbon is a Taft and Sherman campaign button measuring approx. 1.75\" in diameter with \"Whitehead & Hoag Co Badges Pat. June 12.94 Newark N.J.\" stamped on the back.The bottom of the gold colored ribbon reads \"Central Dry Goods Division Taft And Sherman 1908\".The overall length from the top badge to ribbon bottom is approx. 8.5\".Thisgenuine and unique piece of political history is in very good overall condition with minor wear from age and has no major issues.
