A 1911 model clover cutter by SILVER MFG. Salem Ohio. It was sold by Pacific Implement in San Fransisco Ca.. It is in great original condition. retains most of its original paint, pinstriping and lettering. It is approx. 15\" wide X 17\" tall X 30\" long. It has a 6\" throat or opening, and 4 knives that rotate. There is one old repair on the underside of the lid. from the outside notice the repair. I showed the repair in 2 photos. The underside and the next picture is on the top side. there is a shaft mounted to the base, I do not knowwhat that would have been used for.I do not know if this is what you would call a table top model or a traveling salesman sample. either way it is a stunning original piece. A great addition to any collection. Can be picked up in Sherrill Iowa or I will crate it for $50.00 plus shippingand ship it. I travel to Des Moines Iowa on a regular basis.
