Available is a page that came from an October 8, 1911 San Francisco Call Sunday newspaper magazine section that features a great looking color illustration of then President William Howard Taft.The newspaper page may exhibit some slight chipping and paper loss on the edges. The page is brittle and should be handled delicately with the utmost care. Please see the listing photos for detail.

Please keep in mind that newspapersfrom this era tend to have high acid content partly due to how the paper wasmade and partly due to the absorption of pollutants. This combination resultsin the deterioration of the paper over time making it increasingly brittleespecially on the edges. As a result, these pages must be handled with theutmost care due to their delicate nature. The newspaper and/or newspaper pageswill be placed in a protective plastic sleeve and shipped in a sturdy cardboardtube. Please use due care when removing the pages from the tube and the plasticsleeve.
