Featuring 25 tipped-in colour plates by Hugh Thomson, including a frontispiece.

With an illustrated titlepage and numerous black and white illustrations in the text.

The School for Scandal is a play written by Richard Brinsley Sheridan. It was first performed in London at Drury Lane Theatre on May 8, 1777.

CONDITION

In a decorative cloth binding. Externally, smart with just some shelfwear and sunning to the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound although the frontispiece and titlepage are detached but present. Some scattered light foxing, prominent to the text-block edges. Overall: GOOD.
