Design:
Yourcoins depict a shield bearing the then Canadian coat of arms, composed of theprovincial arms of the Dominion of Canada: Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, andNew Brunswick. The shield is encircled by graceful maple boughs. Theinscription “CANADA” is engraved above the shield, and the dates 1912, 1913 or1914 and face value TEN DOLLARS or FIVE DOLLARS is engraved below the shield.The effigy of King George V adorns the obverse side of your coins. Both sidesof the coin are framed with a raised beaded circle.
