This is the most beautiful PETER PAN alphabet book I have seen. Begins with an 8 page abridged version of J.M. Barrie\'s (Unattributed, but clearly based on his play and 1911 book) Peter Pan & Wendy - with all the Neverland characters!
Then each letter has a Color Plate with text opposite each (W/X done on one page, so 24 with letters, Frontis for the Z)!Printed on heavy coated paper and illustrated by FLORA WHITE with a total of 26 (including frontis & cover) lovely full page Art Nouveau color plates.
Due to heavy stock of Plate paper, this book tends to fall apart. Not so this one. Complete, Binder Unusually Solid, Hinges Perfect. NO NAMES or MARKS, NO DAMAGED or LOOSE PAGES! REMARKABLY CLEAN, White & Bright for a 100 YEAR OLD CHILDREN\'S BOOK!
