This listing is for an antique still life painting of an 18th-century German Westerwald tankard. To the outside edge that measures 12\" x 8.5\". The canvas was cut at some point and melted onto a piece of cardboard. The signature and the date on the back read \"M. P. 1913\". In my opinion the painter had some skill but I would not consider the artwork to be professional grade. More of a high-quality naïve artist piece. The painting has crazing all over the surface and a couple spots of paint loss as pictured.
