1913 USA Bureau of Pensions document providing William W. Hume with a $30/month pension.

Mr. Hume had been a blacksmith in Company D, 2nd Regiment, of the Iowa Cavalry and discharged October 3, 1864 at the age of 24 after 3 years of Civil War service.

Note: Mr. Hume\'s Civil War discharge certificate sold here on April 23, 2018 ( number 372279669934).

By calcuation, at the timethis pension document was signed, Mr. Hume was approximately 73 years of age.
