I have been collecting / dealing in Antiques and Collectibles for well over 45 years. Most of the treasures I get are found in or come out of houses and estates. Over this period of time I set aside many items that I felt were especially \"unique and eclectic\" for my own personal (and rather extensive) collection. I am now at a point in my life that I have to realize I need to limit my addiction of continuing to do this and (shutter) in fact downsize (slim down to calm my shutter) the rather extensive hoard of items that encompasses my collection. I suggest that you consider adding me to your list of sellers that you follow as there will be many decommissioned treasures from my collection as well as many new unique acquisitions that I would have set aside for my collection!

I will be listing a selection of historically significant pins that I acquired from a 2nd generation antique dealer. Most of these were gathered by her mother, the first generation! Make sure that you take the time to view all of these special pins!

Although the United States did not officially enter WWI until 1917, our support favored the British and their allies early when the war began in 1914. This wonderful sterling pin consists of two parts. The base pin with maroon enamel decoration was made in 1914. I was designed to accommodate attachment of center pieces, most likely several different military emblem symbols. The US emblem in the center has a separate Sheffield England hallmark. Unfortunately the date letter is hidden behind the supporting bar. I suspect that it is 1917 or 1918. The pin is approximately 2 5/8\" x 1 1/4\". The US eagle is approximately 1\" x 1\". It is one of the nicest WWI pins that I have come across!
