J.W. Burford, THE SAN ANTONIO SWING: FIESTA PRIZE SONG (1914). Great sheet music published by the \"Fiesta San Jacinto Association of San Antonio.\" Total of 6 pages, glossy white paper stock. Inside front cover is a letter written to Burford awarding him the $100 prize for having his song selected. Single loose sheet inside with the lyrics and music. Front cover has oval photo of Emil Frank, president of the association. Also on the cover is a wonderful photo 5.25\" X 10\" of the fiesta, probably from the previous year. Condition is
very worn with edge tatters, a number of archival tape reinforcements, about fair+ to possibly good- condition: intact, but shows wear. Earliest entry for this association in OCLC is a decade after this sheet music, so likely the earliest known piece from the fiesta. P/h is $5.95: mailed plat. Insurance extra at buyer\'s request.
